Guided by our commitment to self-empowerment, the mission of AAERO is to improve access of African Americans to education and information about teaching and learning. AAERO, which was founded in 1999, and MQMH are now merged as one organization. Guided by our commitment to community well-being, the mission of AAERO at Melchor-Quick Meeting House is to enable Black people to have the means to learn and share education of all kinds throughout our lives.

The Alamance Battlegrounds Friends, Inc is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation formed under the North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act. The mission of the Alamance Battleground Friends, Inc. is to support, enhance, and promote education, interpretation, and preservation at the Alamance Battleground Historic Site. Alamance Battleground Friends, Inc. carries out this mission by:
• providing support and guidance to the site coordinators
• securing financial donations and grants to support site programs, and
• seeking volunteers to actively participate in site programs.
To aid students with a demonstrated financial need in reaching their educational goals, while supporting the mission of ACC.
To promote the cultural arts.
