Barbershop Therapy works to “Cut Through The Problems“ by securing resources to provide year-round assistance with haircuts and outreach services for minorities and others, living at or below poverty level in Wake County North Carolina schools!
At Sierra Hotel for DD214’s, our mission is to empower military veterans and their families on their journey towards a healthy and fulfilling civilian life. We recognize the pressing need to address the challenges posed by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related issues faced by these brave individuals who have dedicated themselves to the service of others.
Soul to Soles Connection is dedicated to the mental health of America’s veterans, active-duty personnel, first responders and their families. Our mission offers mental health treatment and wellness options, with horses, focused on reducing the impact of trauma. Soul to Soles Connection is a unique opportunity to share innovative healing experiences. We offer individual, couples and family counseling sessions, closed groups, retreats, guided meditation and Reiki. Trauma impacts the individual and those around them.
First Haven provides psychological self-help information to those who have experienced sexual abuse. We produce and distribute our flagship guide, Tending the Wound Sexual Abuse: An Introduction, to agencies, institutions, and organizations directly serving those most in need.
Capstone Recovery Center Inc. provides a safe, Godly environment where women whose lives have been affected by prescription/illicit drug abuse and/or other life-controlling issues, are educated and encouraged to lead fully functional lives as productive citizens in the community. The Center offers a residential program, and a non-residential program, for the purpose of healing the whole person. Residential clients are provided housing and meals.
Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. is creating a community where recovery from addiction and co-occurring mental health is possible through; restoring hope, repairing lives, and rebuilding community.
To provide mental health care to low-income families who can not afford health care, to ensure their family members ages 12-25, and veterans of all ages receive the needed help that they deserve. We will provide mental health counseling through pro-bono counselors, medication assistance, and transportation to and from appointments if needed. We will also continue to raise awareness for suicide prevention, by providing seminars, webinars, and presentations to local schools, churches, and other organizations that could benefit from these services.
