Creating a Cybersecurity Plan

Cybersecurity is critical for organizations of all sizes and designations. Yet staff not formally trained in technology, privacy, and security are often responsible for confidential data and budgeting. As we digitize our organizations, our need for cybersecurity increases. By learning about, investing in, and implementing cybersecurity practices, we can work to keep our organizations healthy and fulfill our missions.

This course will examine internal systems and cybersecurity components while using a tool to assess your organization’s current practices and prioritize future goals. Additionally, we’ll discuss ways to obtain buy-in and funding and brainstorm ideas for implementing cybersecurity practices that address issues without being too burdensome for your users.

This course includes 30 minutes of self-paced pre-work, 90-minute class, and 30 minutes of self-paced homework to earn the certificate.
