Many growing nonprofits have not yet evaluated their current use of technology or their cyber security needs. Making the case for cyber security improvements is always a challenge. Often, the projects are not approved because they are not seen to be directly related to mission or program outcomes.
In this 2-part course, Tech Impact will provide a structured approach to developing a cyber security report that provides current state assessment, gap analysis, projects and budget that close gaps by providing actionable recommendations. SecCheck is an expert-guided assessment that evaluates your organization’s cybersecurity and compliance maturity. SecCheck is regularly a $450 service; through this course, participantsreceive the completed assessment and report for $200.
Session 1: Cyber Security Basics
Cyber security upgrades should not be completed ad-hoc or in reaction to failures. A solid cyber security plan that assess and aligs cyber security with your mission and program goals will help your organization be more productive and produce better impact for your community. In this session, we will define the process to develop an assessment of current state.
Session 2: SecCheck Assessment Findings
In this session, we will discuss projects that can close gaps found through assessment in each category and prioritize cyber security projects to meet budget with biggest impact on mission, program and staff productivity. Tech Impact will produce and deliver the final report to each participant.
