Within our community legacy, we've broken down barriers to create uniquely impactful programs that help lift people out of poverty.

Philippians 3: Ministries, Inc. knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. 2005 was the year that started this journey and in 2007 were established as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit. In 2007 our validation became visible when we secured office space at the JoAnn Carter Harrelson Center in downtown Wilmington, NC, and the rest we say is history, is now and the future!

To love and empower victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Operation Pretty things is designed to be an on-call resource to shelters and victims of abuse by meeting their immediate needs, as well as offering life-impacting gifts, services and support.

The Kairos Center’s mission is to create learning opportunities for individuals, empowering them to pursue healthier, more productive lives.

To provide and promote support to families with children who have special needs.

We believe that communities thrive when they draw on participants' personal experiences and local cultures. By telling stories - whether in the form of performance, radio, video, or other media - communities build power, envision new democratic possibilities, and change culture and policy. Our work is located at the intersection of arts, technology, and social change. We work with grassroots groups, nonprofits, foundations, media-makers and journalists in the U.S. South and beyond.
