Smart Start of New Hanover County seeks to build bridges to develop, sustain and enhance health, family support and early education services for all children, ages birth to five.

The Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Greene Counties, established in 1994, is one of those partnerships and works to develop today’s children to become tomorrow’s leaders. The Partnership accomplishes this mission by providing and supporting a variety of programs and services that target children and their families.

To improve the quality of life for young children and families through community-based programs focusing on health, education, and family support.

To design and implement programs for children and families.

To help children prepare and be ready to succeed for school.

To work with families to provide opportunities for every child 0-6 to receive quality child and health care services so they enter school prepared to learn.

To assist parents of children in Hoke County to access services needed for their children including health, educational, and family support.
